Role & Responsibilities
During my time at FFW (now called JAKALA), I experienced a lot of different clients and challenges that pushed me to be the best version of myself. I helped design the overall experience for numerous products, ranging from redesigning educational platforms to designing a brand new website for a major sports promotion company within the confines of their CMS platform (Drupal). Key deliverables were understanding & analyzing my client's goals and pain points, and using those insights to drive the overall user experience to deliver a satisfying journey for their end users.
Accomplishments
• Increased number of transactions for consumer-facing website by identifying pain points in the user journey and streamlining the purchasing process
• Streamlined content management workflow by enhancing an existing design system, allowing new content integration across multiple websites
• Optimized navigational structure of content in an informational website and offered suggestions to improve overall experience, significantly decreasing the bounce rate of visitors
• Led collaboration efforts between designers and stakeholders by conducting virtual workshops through digital whiteboarding exercises
• Improved the employee onboarding experience for the experience design team by researching and gathering industry standard practices, reducing the amount of time spent to onboard new team members
